Moogerah Passion Play –
Held every Easter long weekend plus performances the weekend before Easter. This is an open-air theatre production right on the shores of Lake Moogerah. With a cast of up to 80 people and a backdrop of the sun setting over the Great Dividing Range and the lake, this is a spectacle not to be missed. Kalbar Country Day -
Mid-October every year in Kalbar. Something for everyone. Free Poet’s Breakfast, rides for kids, pumpkin rolling, hay scramble and extraordinary hay sculptures to view around the town in the lead up to the festival with arts and crafts and local music.
